    Account and data deletion

This page applies to the Ivylus mobile app and website, published by Vastlabs.

    How to request account deletion

Follow one of the options below. We use the email address registered to your Ivylus account to verify ownership before we delete your account.

    1. From the Ivylus app (recommended): Open the app, sign in, go to your profile or account screen, then choose Delete account (or equivalent) and follow the prompts to confirm. Your account will be removed from our systems.
    2. From the website (signed in): Log in on Ivylus, open Profile, scroll to Delete Account, enter your current password to confirm, and submit. Your session will end and your account will be removed.
    3. By email: Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your Ivylus account. Use the subject line Ivylus account deletion request and include your registered name or phone number if helpful. We will confirm and process the request, usually within a few business days.

    What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove or disassociate data that identifies you as a user, including for example:

    • Your profile and account credentials (name, email, phone, password hash, avatar, and related profile fields)
    • Preferences and in-app data stored against your user record (for example wishlist or follow data tied to the account)
    • Vendor profile content linked to your account, if applicable

What we may keep and for how long

Some information may be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons:

    • Orders and payments: Records of purchases, payments, and payouts may be kept for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Where possible, these are retained in a form that does not require an active login or full profile, in line with applicable law.
    • Backups and logs: Residual copies may exist in encrypted backups or server logs for a limited period before they roll off (typically on the order of weeks, unless a longer retention is required for an investigation or legal hold).
    • Third-party services: Services such as push notifications or analytics (for example OneSignal or Google Play Services) have their own retention; we request deletion or disassociation where we control the integration, subject to their policies.
